A beautiful lace scarf -- Mountain Valley Sunset. I hand knit this lovely women's scarf with a wonderful merino wool blend yarn using a stitch design that has a resemblance to the mountain peaks and valley lows where I live in Western Montana. The gorgeous colorway also resembles some of our glorious sunsets over our silhouetted western mountain range as seen from the valley below.

This gorgeous ladies scarf was handmade with a fine yarn on small needles, making it somewhat thin with a nice drape. It is ideal for the cooler parts of fall and spring, or when you want some warmth in winter without the thickness of a bulkier scarf. The last photo shows it draped over a window with the light shining through the lace design so you can see the stitch detail better. This beautiful handmade scarf consists of more than 23,000 stitches. You are sure to feel the warmth and beauty of handmade when you wear this lovely scarf!
