april snow showers in our part of montana today.

Our early morning rain quickly turned to snow as our cold front blew in today.

It continued to snow throughout the day, obscuring our mountain view.

Bitterroot Valley, Montana.

The mountains were hidden behind the snow today.

The combination of wind and snow made it a bit blustery for taking pics.

Fortunately, snow in April doesn't usually stick around very long.
We'll be back to warmer temps and bare ground again soon. (I hope!)

Spring is often a roller coaster ride in Montana.

Love the snow pix, Nikki! I wish I could have taken a video of one of our crab apple trees yesterday. It was still raining, hadn't turned to snow yet, and there were droplets of rain on this tree just shimmering in the early morning sun. Hmm . . . early morning sun? Maybe it was the day before yesterday! All the days seem to be blending together!

Thanks, Dana. Yes, my days are blending together lately, too. I love raindrops in the sunshine! Your tree sounds like it would have made a nice little video or picture. At least you were able to take notice and enjoy it. That's what I always remind myself of when I don't have my camera along for something. :)
