"What day is it?" asked Winnie the Pooh.
"It's today," squeaked Piglet.
"My favorite day," said Pooh.
I can't argue with A. A. Milne's wisdom on this one. I value every day for its possibilities.
Yes, some days have more work and less fun and relaxation than others. But there is so much to life in everything we do, not just our "time off". And even on our workdays, there are bits of time to squeeze in other things we enjoy more. I love to plan my days and work in what I can, even when I don't accomplish everything I set out to do (either because I over-plan or things change on that day).
But regardless, every day is a day of our lives, and whether it is a weekday or the weekend, they all have their purpose. I make a point to enjoy each day in some way or another as it comes. Some days it might be easier than others, but it's simply a matter of perspective and making a choice to do so.
