Hi Dana... We've seen them in the past, but never in such abundance as we have lately. I didn't know what they were until recently I decided to look them up. They're around a foot long, give or take? Their long tail makes them look kind of like a short snake with legs. I tried to video one on the trail but he went too fast for me to keep up with him. He gave me a little startle when he suddenly darted right towards my foot! LOL! :) Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
