Here are some photos from our spur-of-the-moment hike up Kootenai last night. It was totally unplanned. I was sitting around feeling like a slug after supper, looking at my map and planning our next big hike, when I said, "Hey, let's get out for a quick hike right now." So we grabbed our packs and hit the trail about 8pm and came out as it was getting dark a little after 10pm. A good way to finish the day. Hope you enjoy the pics. :)
 So many beautiful flowers!  Unsuccessful attempt to evade my camera. :)  Always something to chat about.  Ominous storm clouds rolled over.  We love to hang out on the rocks!  Pink and blue sky reflections on the mountain stream.  It eventually grew too dark for photos. More to come on my next adventure. :) |  A hiking we must go!  I love the water!  Huckleberry season has arrived. Yum!  I'd be lost without my camera!  I think she's been bit by the photography bug, too. :)  The moon joined us on our hike out.  |
