After so much snow and cold in February and the first half of March, we finally got some sunshine and a bit warmer temps.

So off to the refuge we went, as the Kenai Nature Trail is a wonderful place to enjoy the sun in addition to the wildlife and beautiful views. :)

Great photos, Nikki! They make me look at my home-away-from-home in a new light. Favorite photos? I love the one of your shadows, and the snowy mountains shot, and I especially love the one with the swan with the ducks. It reminds me of the story "The Ugly Duckling." It' looks like when the "duckling" finds out he's a swan and he's thinking, "Wait . . . what?! I'm a swan?!!! What's a swan???"
