My family and I have had many storms to weather in life, including one that rolled in earlier this year when my husband had open heart surgery for a quadruple bypass that was completely unexpected. The sudden whirlwind of tests and diagnosis, surgery and hospital stay, and following recovery period was definitely a tough time for all of us, but we got through it one day at a time with positive attitudes. While the recovery process is not quite complete yet, the storm has subsided and the sun is peeking out again.
Rainy days and sunshine are a natural cycle of life. We all have storms in our lives, but it is how we weather out those storms that shapes who we are. Our storms will either make us stronger or weaker, and it really is up to us in how we choose to handle them. So when you're going through thunder and rain, hang in there and weather it out. The storm will pass, and sunny days will come again. :)
