| Thought I'd share the lovely new scarf I am working on. I am crocheting it in a gorgeous cotton/acrylic/polyester blend. Although this is a laceweight yarn, I decided not to make it into lace this time around. I wanted to create a lightweight cold-weather scarf, for warmth without the weight. |  |
The shell stitch I chose to use for this handmade ladies scarf highlights the varied colors quite nicely, and the slightly fuzzy texture gives a soft feel to it. I used a larger than normal crochet hook for this size of yarn, so that it would give it extra softness and drape when using this closed-stitch design. It has a wonderful feel to it and will make a nice addition to my shop. This beautiful scarf will be finished and listed soon, so keep your eye out for it in the next few days. :)
